Lengiprotrans OJSC as the state design and surveying Company was founded in 1935; the Company was reformed into the Open Joint-Stock Company in 1993.

The main guideline for the Company Activities is fulfillment of the full complex of design and surveying works for construction, updating, and capital repair of railroads, roads, and other objects of the transport infrastructure.

The Company performs its activity in all the regions of Russia and abroad. Lengiprotrans OJSC has great experience in performing project works in Turkey, Syria, Kazakhstan, and the Baltic countries. Share of the Company in project and survey works in the area of railroad construction is about 25% in Russia and about 56% in the North-West Federal District.

  

The Company has the unique experience in design of road bed, buildings, and constructions in permafrost zone and in different environment and geotechnical conditions including seismically active regions.

In general, tens of thousands kilometers of rail roads and side tracks as well as more than 2,000 kilometers of roads were built according to the Company projects; more than 11,000 kilometers of railroads were electrified; hundreds of bridges and overhead crossings, objects of locomotive and rolling stocks, objects of building industry, and more that 30 railroad stations were built; approach lines to large metallurgical, coal, oil and gas companies, and railroad approaches to five sea ports at the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic sea were built.

While working out the projects, environmental surveys and environment impact assessment for implementation of projects are performed.

For performing engineering surveys, Lengiprotrans OJSC has up-to-date geodesic, hydrologic, and geophysical tools, own rig and automotive materiel stocks.

Experience and traditions of the Company, high qualification, and technical level of engineering personnel, implementation of multivariant projecting and advanced surveying techniques provide high quality of the projects. It is proved by favorable conclusions of domestic and foreign economic and technical examination as well as operational reliability of constructed objects. Quality management system of Lengiprotrans OJSC is certified for conformance to the international standard ISO 9001:2008.
